Consultations & Permits
Make sure to speak with the UTS Tree Care team ahead of any tree removals you may have planned!
Some municipal bylaws may require homeowners to obtain a permit in order to remove a tree. At UTS Tree Care (Uxbridge Tree Service), we provide consultation as to where permits are required, and how to obtain them.

The Consulting Team
With five ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certified arborists, five utility arborists and three Tree Risk Assessors (TRAQ) on staff, we have the manpower and the know-how to provide fast and thorough reports. Our entire team is committed to completing each report with the utmost attention to detail in order to meet the needs of your municipality.
The Content
Our ISA certified arborists provide you arborist reports for:
- Risk assessment of your hazardous trees
- Tree management recommendations
- Assessing your tree’s vitality and suitability for your landscape
- Recommended planting to meet your landscape needs
- Best management of privately owned woodlands
Things to Consider
Tree preservation is our preference, but removal of trees often cannot be avoided when new buildings are being built. Prior to obtaining a building permit, tree preservation plans often must be in place. Even if they are not compulsory, it is advisable to have one so that your trees can be protected before the contractors and heavy equipment arrives. It is the root systems that are often overlooked, and require the most protection. Your arborist is the first one who should arrive at the site.
